My Bio
Riki XD is an aspiring illustrator who will one day have a world famous comic. Her tools of the trade are brush/ink, pastels, and acrylic paints, but she's also learning the ways of the Cintiq tablet and digital painting. Much of her free time is spent "researching" the field by reading a variety of both print and web comics. The rest goes to video games and cooking, her two other passions.

I have really enjoyed making the comic for all these weeks. However, with my new job and school getting into full swing, I'm going to update this comic only once a month now (unless things start to slow down). Working in a kitchen is exciting and fun, but it takes a lot out of you, and combined with about 8 hours of classes AND homework, I am swamped! I'll make sure to post on here if I decide to do any other update changes.
Also, a big thanks to everyone who has been following every week! I'm glad that so many people have enjoyed my comic! :D

Borderlands 2 is severely cutting into my productivity right now, lol. It's really a great game and I highly recommend it. I realize that being in the Chef Apprenticeship program, I don't really have much time for art. Honestly, I haven't even felt a desire to do art (aside from the weekly comics!) for a few weeks now. I'm sure that things will balance out eventually, but for now, enjoy the comics!

Well, I've been spending most of my time learning about food science lately. It is incredibly interesting, and consequently I've spent little time on art. I never realized before just how passionate I am about food and cooking/baking. I'm really happy to know that I made the right decision going back to school!
